Our Recruitment Process

We believe in hiring for potential...

What is our recruitment process?

Application Questions

We ask applicants to answer two questions that are specifically linked to the role and team you are applying for. These questions are designed to give you the chance to showcase your passions, interests, and relevant skills for the role regardless of your background and experience.

As we are looking for interests specific to you, we would ask not to use Generative AI tools to write answers. We do use AI Decoders as part of the screening process, and if your answers match AI-Generated content to a high extent, this will be factored into the scoring.

Bryq Cognitive Assessment

Bryq is an assessment that gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your cognitive and soft skills, which are then mapped against the specific requirements of the role you’re applying for.

It requires no preparation and takes around 14 minutes to complete. The assessment is designed to be inclusive, with reasonable adjustments available if needed.

This is not a pass-or-fail assessment; it simply provides an additional data point that will be considered alongside your application. As part of our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion, Bryq gives you another way to showcase your strengths beyond just your written responses.

Virtual Video Interview

The next step of our recruitment process is meeting one of our friendly talent partners. Selection for this stage is based on your application responses, but we will ask you to send us a CV to reference - simply so you don't have to start from scratch in telling us every detail of your background!

The purpose of the interview is to get to know you, what interests you, and what motivates you. We will be specifically looking to understand why the role and team you have applied for is a good fit for you and your career ambitions.

We recommend making sure you research the role, team, and Ipsos ahead of your interview, as well as preparing questions to make sure you get all the information you want to know.

In-Person Assessment Centre

The final step of our recruitment process is an in-person Assessment Centre. Here, you will get the opportunity to meet a variety of Ipsos employees who work within the team you are applying for.

Some teams may choose to hold a one-day session with all candidates, some will choose to hold individual interviews and tasks. All will include a values-based interview, and the most common tasks are a presentation and a group task, although this can vary depending on the team and the role.

Before any Assessment Centre, you will be invited to a Candidate Briefing session. This is a chance for you to find out more about the role, team and Ipsos’s graduate offering, as well as receiving a detailed breakdown of what to expect in your specific assessment, along with preparation hints and tips.

Hired

We recruit into cohorts throughout the year. As part of a cohort, you'll have the chance to collaborate across the business, expand your network, and contribute to innovative projects.
